Does the Draft happen in real time?

For example, if I hit "Draft Now" does it start, immediately, for everyone? Or, once the first person (myself, the creator of my league) picks, it will let the next person know it's their turn when they get online?

It starts immediately and happens in real time. You'll want to coordinate with your league members via the messages feature in the league on a time that works for everyone to avoid AFKs. Otherwise, the computer will draft automatically for them.
