Top Three Sleepers!
Recently I was asked by a friend about sleepers, players that are open in most leagues and will bring in 40+ points per game. Here are my top three sleepers as of week 5. Hope you enjoy and leave your own thoughts in the comments.
Youngbuck: Youngbuck is a reasonably good player on a flourishing team! His average points per game is off because of a poor team performance in weeks 1 and 2. However he dropped 63 points in week 3, 31 in week 4, and 48 in week 5. Every game he looks more solid, and the Wolves as a whole are flourishing in Europe. If you missed out on a chance to pick up Freeze or Soren, Youngbuck can definitely add to your roster.
Porpoise8: The jungler for Team8, a team that is having some trouble emerging in their first year of LCS. They however are a middle of the pack NA team and Porpoise can drop some points. In week 5, he got 48 points as a jungler. He scored 22 points in a game that Team8 lost. He gets a lot of assist for his team. He might be a gamble, but in willing to believe that he can get 40+ points on a regular basis.
Hjarnan: The ADC of H2k is pretty inconsistent. Taking home only 19 points in week 1, only to amaze us as he took home 55 in week 2. He is not a solid pick, but H2k is taking some of the best teams in Europe by storm. For an ADC, his averages are, well, average. However I believe he has the talent and is fully set up to overwhelm other middle-of-the-pack ADCs. His points increase every week taking home around 40 for three weeks in a row. I believe he can pick up one or two more 50+ point weeks going into the end of the season and could just give your team a jump-start.
These are purely estimations that I put together based of off many stats. I enjoy watching LCS but I am by no means a analyst. I just wanted to help the person who is 3-2 right now and needs a boost to put them on the path to glory. Any feedback/your own sleepers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!
