EU vs NA LCS balance

Although both EU and NA teams play the same amount of matches a week, NA has the potential to play 2 more games a weeks. I was wondering how Riot is intending to balance this, or if the problem will just be ignored. Another balance issue would be how ties are treated for team points. Thanks for any input.
