My thoughts on improvements for the fantasy LCS

Currently I don't have any friends that play Fantasy LCS and whenever I want to play I must go to this board and find people handing out links so I'd like a way to join up with leagues besides looking for requests on the forums maybe like join random and you can set what type of league you want and it will place you in a league with other randoms looking for that type of league, or someone creates a league but makes it an open/public league and you can scroll through a list of open leagues to join and find which one you want to join.

There needs to be a better way for players to know/prepare for substitutions, for me, impact or ray was simply unusable as you never knew if they were going to play all the matches especially as I save all my viewing for after the live broadcast. Perhaps having a slot or two to designate players as emergency subs, this could share a slot with alternates as well, but these emergency subs would auto rotate to the main fantasy roster if a player is subbed in the LCS. Just adding this in here the EU LCS format they had this split sucked for fantasy I constantly had to juggle my players from G2 H2K UOL and Misfits sometimes taking lesser rosters for a week just in order to keep them as alternates.

Also just as a quality of life change, I'd like to be able to see my player's team's matchup for the week in view in the roster selection tab instead of having to swap back and forth between the matchup tab.

The last thing I'd like to see for now is a global or even regional leaderboards to compare my weekly and split performance to others not just in my league.

Agree'd with the random league thing. I'd rather see a different fix to the substitutions issue. I had Impact as my starter the whole time and it was rough. Luckily I had 3 other C9 in my roster to pick up the slack and I even wound up winning the one league I joined this split. Not gonna lie, when they started ray twice in this last week I was fairly angry.

My suggestion that I sent into feedback was to pick roles instead of players. For example, I draft the C9 top role instead of impact. This way I get the points for whoever plays the top lane. I suggested this mainly because they would have to impact (couldn't think of a better word) LCS play to announce starting rosters per game ahead of time. This way the teams can swap at their leisure and we don't have the hassle of wondering if we should bench a potentially huge point earner because they are out the first game or two. They idea of an emergency sub line is nice but eventually as the scene gets bigger and more money is funneled into it there are going to be a lot more situations like the one C9 had with impact. I mean just look at the last few weeks there with Matt and Adrian swapping a few times for TL and Shady taking stunts place on P1, meteos being benched in the last week for that trashcan inori. It is just the beginning for the sub swapping in the region. Emergency subs would just be a band-aid at this point in time.

Edit: Oh yeah and don't get me started on EU LCS players, I tried to avoid them entirely but I still had to have one rotating in my main lineup because all the NA players for that role were taken. Half the time I couldn't start the 2 G2 players I had in my roster but I didn't want to lose them so I had to be rotating between terrible roccat or origen players to fill the slot on the many weeks G2 only played one match. If this is the system both LCS organizations are going to be going by then we need to split the fantasy LCS leagues into EU and NA. It makes no sense to keep them together when over half the time your EU players only have one match that week.
