Hit for True Morale Damage With Your Fantasy Team Name: A Resource
The Burning Question
So it's time for another exciting fantasy e-sports season! There are plenty of changes this time around but that's part of the fun, isn't it? And with all these changes, I know you're deeply concerned over an issue that has caused deep feelings of consternation, confusion, passion and other major emotions since time immemorial (that is to say, circa two years ago)!
What do I Name my Team?
Nothing says "prepare to taste the bitter metaphorical arugula of defeat" like a cutting, witty team name for your fantasy lineup. However, while a multitude of resources exist on the web offering ideas for team names with clever plays on football (or "handegg" as our EU friends are wont to call it), basketball or baseball terms, I haven't been able to locate a good, solid resource for naming your fantasy LCS team. Fortunately, my team is here to help you.
We have begun putting together team names and we wanted to both share this resource and tap into the collective consciousness of other summoners to field the best possible candidates to make your team stand out. All suggestions have to be kept to 20 characters or less to meet requirements. We have scoured the web, archived message boards and our own brains for these for nearly an hour and come up with a few to get you started. We have a few categories to help organize things:
General Plays on Words: --Into this category we put general plays on themes of victory and blend them into recognizable symbolism. The goal here is to take a short recognizable phrase or name and combine it with a vaguely intimidating riff on the theme of "winning."

Allusions to Players/Teams Active in the Current Split: --In this category we combine the names of players and teams with the aforementioned references to winning, victory, success and other positive imagery.

Hopefully you, fellow summoners, can help us supplement this list far beyond these meager offerings so that we can proudly display our team's name to the awe and jealousy of the others in our leagues, leaving them crushed and defeated before the games ever even start!
