Improving the Trade System

A way to improve the current trade system could be to adopt something like Yahoo Fantasy Hockey. Allow 2 for 1 trades and then the person that gives up two players is forced to pick up one of the free agent players to make sure his roster is complete and the person who adds two players is forced to drop one player to free agency. This would allow for a lot more strategy in team management and would ensure that fantasy players take on a more active role in manipulating their rosters week by week to remain competitive with fantasy players who are improving their teams through trades.
