I don´t even know how riot hans´t figured out that NA players recieve literally the double of points with the new group system of EUW, meanwhile some EU players play 2 games in a few weeks(2 or 3 weeks), NA players play 2 games per week(9 weeks in total). Seriusly, is inviable to pick a EUW player in this conditions. DO SOMETHING PLS or just shut down fantasy if It's going to be this shitty.

They've noticed. They don't think it's broken. They've painted it as strategic complexity.

Week 10 is going to be fun for all the NA stacked rosters.

Do you have an idea for a better way to run fantasy with the awkward EU match arrangements?

Ive heard adding more bench spots (3 to 5), I've personally felt like having 3 players to a lane would help (if you choose to bench 2 of the same lane), any other ideas? I'd like the 3 players per lane limit just because i have to pick between preference and consistency.

Say i want Jankos as my Jg, i then pick Dardock for consistency (since jankos may only get 1 game that week), then say Splyce is gonna have a great week, so i wanna put in Trashy, Who do i drop? Risk losing my consistency? Risk losing the player i actually want?

Eu schedule just really complicates things, while still running off the old format for Fantasy. It needs something...

Well, despite how my previous post looks, I feel like the minority, as I don't actually mind the current setup. I'm very at home with having to trade from week to week. I used to do it a lot in previous splits anyway. I'm actually in favour of it, as it forces us not to afk our way through the split, and presents unavoidably difficult decisions. How & who I'm going to trade from week to week is a conundrum I relish.

The only negative side I can see at the moment is that drafting/trading strategies have transitioned into favouring the hyper-active/hyper-present Fantasy players. If you're not logged in soon after the time that building your roster for the next week arrives, your strategy for free-agents is just at the mercy of more attentive or more available Flayers. That used to sometimes be the case in previous splits too, but it's so much more prominent now.

Extending the bench, both in size and in role/team limitations, is recipe for some poor soul in a fantasy league having literally nobody to fill a role if all other Flayers monopolise all viable players for that week, especially in an 8-man league.

Using an average points per game certainly has its merits, but it isn't a solution for the entire split when NA doesn't play in week 10 at all. I suppose week 10 could be omitted from the Fantasy matchups, but that would mean that we can get away with just cruising our way to the end of the split with minimal trading or forced hands.

Eh, I'd hardly say the current setup accounts for the new EU-match formatting.

It gives a clear consistency bonus to NA players while in hand making EU players less viable and more likely to just take up a spot on your bench for maybe 2 good weeks?

I don't mind being more active/present in Fantasy, I always have been, and this season has made things more difficult, rather then rewarding my activity. Most players I've see in the past stack NA players and leave EU alone since they don't watch it, giving an inherent bonus to those who keep up with EU + NA (like me). Now especially watching EU means less and stacking NA is more viable. Adds to the same problem, I personally, have always seen.

It doesn't make sense to me because now more then ever people can stack NA and be fine, but players willing to use EU are seemingly forced to have at least 1 NA player (which creates the lane limit problem, I think the monopoly theory is unlikable and highly counter-able). Rather then the good ol' style where NA/EU were fair and balanced regions fantasy point wise.

Suppose it comes down to preference, but i still feel like giving NA a consistency edge over EU is unfair, or at least not as fun (and week 10 is just creating more awkward problems rather than a solution). I understand its just fantasy adapting to new EU formatting, but that's why I ask for a system update to accommodate it.

I agree. You can only get 3 weeks of value from any one eu player. Or if like me you put your faith in h2k and started week one, two weeks. I like the new format for eu but it doesn't work well in the fantasy leagues at all!
