i was just thinking since teams don't really have that many ways to gain fantasy points I just thought of a way they could. For every 10k Gold they gain after the start of the game it will count for 1 fantasy point. To me i think this is a way that teams a more strategic purpose on your fantasy team . Just a suggestion :)
Um... no. Honestly, teams are in a good strategic place for drafting. A tier 1 team easily guarantees a 10-20 point advantage over lower tier teams. That's theoretically enough to warrant a first pick considering that's as big or bigger than the point differential from a first pick and second/third pick for most roles. Currently in the point system, teams are rewarded for a concise victory (<30 mins) however all the matches tend to be over 30 minutes. Teams are already rewarded points for barons and dragons which are just extra free points in longer, less convincing victories. If anything I would suggest changing the <30 min victory for 2 points to 0.5 points per minute before 40 minutes (10 points for a 20 minute victory, 5 points for a 30 minute).
