Hey, just wondering if this happens to anyone else and requesting help, because this is very annoying. Every time I open the website it says threat has been detected and blocked as you can see on my screenshots. Thank you in advance
Someone at Riot would probably have to confirm some of these details, but it looks like it may just be a coincidental problem.
The IP is associated with Amazon (AWS), which is likely being used by the lolesports domain to run some of the backend data systems. The first malicious report of this IP being associated with lolesports was yesterday (3/19). All prior associations skip back to the 12th of march and earlier.
Or tl;dr lolesports.com is using Amazon servers for some of the data and has acquired an IP formerly associated with malicious activity.

I am also getting this now.
This just happened for the first time to me today. Using Chrome and Avast. Not sure if the threat is real. Cpt Pickle's explanation makes sense. But I'd like to see them check on this to make sure those channels are not compromised.
