Dyes for Recoloring Skins

In light of the recent reveal of riot considering skin recolors, I'd like to suggest that Riot implements a system to allow us to earn "Dyes" by playing the game, which we can use to dye our champions' clothing. Any Guild Wars 2 players know what I'm talking about - Customizing our appearances is a super fun way to add flair, diversity and ownership over champions. It could be a super rare drop - something like 1% chance per game, to roll for dye, and some are rarer than others. I realize this would be a humongous undertaking for Riot to create colors for every single champion, but wouldn't it be awesome? The Blue-colored Lucian would be just the beginning. Imagine a pink Ezreal, yellow Zed or even green Lee Sin. And I'm not going to lie, it would be incredibly addicting.

I mean, DOTA 2 already allows people to make their own skins and customize different parts of the same character. Can't we at least get a coloring book?

Yeah, some form of dye system or whatnot would be cool.

This concept seems like a good approach to what they are currently planning. Though I don't know if I agree with the thought of them having drops, that just adds another thing to an already complex game. What they could do instead is to have a mystery gift type scenario where you can pay with LP and get a random color from a selection, and have some that can only be purchased with RP. The main thing to keep in mind here is that RIOT is a business and they do have to come up with income. Without income there is no way to run the resources that would go into the creation of such a system. That being said they do try to create a game that is useful to those who don't have money and that is why I was thinking that getting a random color from say 5-10 colors for LP wouldn't be detrimental to them. If they reserved say 5-10 color schemes for RP only purchases then they could make it all work out pretty well in my opinion.

Great idea, I like it.
