Riot Leona

I just saw this picture on facebook (yes..the comments!). A new skin idea for Leona. Riot Leona! Your thoughts? (The picture was not made by me. I'm just using it to show how it could look) Here is another link directly to tumblr showing another possibility.

One thing though: It doesn't need to be a "Riot" skin, it could just be called something like "Street Battle Leona" or "Heavy Officer Leona" (you know what I mean). Because Riot Skins are so special :P

TAKE IT ALL

I feel like this isn't a "Riot please" thing just because this feels inevitable. I'm not complaining at all, but I'd be surprised if this doesn't happen.

Really? They haven't released a Riot skin in who-knows-how-long (probably someone who looked it up on the wiki just now) I don't see why they'd just up and make a skin at random.

They haven't released a Riot skin since Riot Blitzcrank at Gamescom 2013 =)

Like I said above..it doesn't need to be a "Riot" skin and instead just something like "Heavy Armored Officer Leona" or something like this.

As far as I've seen they release a Riot skin annually. The last one (Blitzcrank) was released in August. I remember it as being right before PAX Prime but somebody else said Gamescom - which is a couple weeks beforehand. Either way, I imagine the new one will be hitting PBE any day now.

IIRC, Riot has stated that their intent with the Riot skins is to commemorate the events that they attend for the year - which is why you get them primarily as skin codes and they're only available in store for the short time when the old one is retired and the new one released. Based on that... every year should be a new skin :)

(As an addition, I'm hoping that they plan on doing similar with the Arcade line. Given both Sona and Hecarim were released right before PAX Prime and given as skin codes. The difference being they're always available in store.)

I dig Leona and Riot Shields.

Where do I sign up?

I think the skin looks great here. The clothing design on the coat version is really cool and it would translate better to a 3d model instead of just being a big black blob like the other might be. Of course, I think Leona would be the type to dress a little more professionally and would cover her cleavage so I hope Riot would make a cleavage exception for at least Leona.

This skin is to Leona as Mac is to Cheese. Rito pls :P

I'm a fan. I even think that the W doesn't need to be intricate. Just let it be color themed, like red and blue hexagons or something. I think it'd be awesome for the Ult to be 3 helicopter spotlights that circle and converge. :D

Name it Riot Leona, and have a whole bunch of jokes/taunts/whatever breaking the fourth wall towards Riot the company. ie. Landing an ult kill/multi-stun ult brings a comment like "There's a Big Play for you Preeti." (Riot Preeti being the one listed as posting all the Big Plays videos) Taunting someone in vision without a skin might say something along the lines of "My summoner loves me more than yours does" while showing off her costume.
