The effect of Poppy and why she needs to be in the meta

Hey there guys and I'm going to talk today about a VERY underplayed champion, Poppy. But one thing I must ask is: why doesn't she have more players?

Poppy has all the things that other laners would be jealous about. An AD damage nuke? Even Riven would want that, and you get it at level one if you choose! Her W is basically just extra armor and damage, making her a great counter for Riven if taken a point in early, as well as making a great ADC killer without really needing to build much armor or damage. Her E is just basically Vayne's E but she goes were the target is. Her ultimate is a great tool for tower diving and team fights, just pick a target and start hacking away at health almost freely!

So basically, Poppy is an underplayed champion who needs to be in the meta due to her bruiser abilities and still have a tanky build. With a little life steal and bruiser building you can dominate the rift! Poppy

As an avid Poppy player I have to say that she is underlooked as an actual champion and more as a joke. I like to take her top lane and shut down a little squishy Riven early or even support and tackle attack a marksman from a bush in a surprise tactic type of thing. It's not so much as "she's not in the meta," it's more like "lol poppy u suck a troll noob gg surrender 20." It would be nice to see someone in the LCS play Poppy, that may bring her into greater fame. But until then we underground secret Poppy players will live against the ridicule and fight on!

If Poppy every does become honestly viable, she will be nerfed here and back again. Her ultimate and ratios are simply too good to allow to be honestly viable. She can clean up on lower level play, and there are a few dedicated Poppy players. She is a hypercarry who can annihilate a team.

Also, her tanky build just isn't as good as her AP/burst build.
