Please consider undoing the nerfs to Maokai's Twisted Advance range.
The recent changes to Maokai are...controversial.
You've done plenty of interesting changes to Maokai, some good some bad, some unique and will require plenty of testing to see. However, one change can only be viewed as awful, the nerf to the range of Twisted Advance.
You made it one of the lowest ranged engagement abilities in the game. His Q's slow wave has a longer range than his W. He also little to know way of engaging on the enemy team without having to flash to get in range.
But then you have champions like Vi. She has 2 engagement tools, one of which functions very almost identically to Maokai's W (Except it has a knock up instead of snare and doesn't make her untargetable). Both of which have a longer range than Twisted Advanced.
I can somewhat understand the changes you had in mind. You wanted Maokai to use his new Sapling slow to get in range of enemies in order to advance in. However, Saplings can be blocked by having the enemy team's tank, or heck even minions get in its path. Not to mention even with the new movement speed change they're still getting outpaced.
Please consider reverting these nerfs and maybe Maokai might start seeing more viable play.
