Do 1350RP skins usually get discounted on the first day?

My memory could be wrong, but in the past I remember seeing skins that usually cost 1350 get reduced to 975 (or something like that) the day it's released. I'm curious to know if that's always the case.. when I saw that they were coming out with a new Lissandra skin I refunded the Bloodstone one but as it turns out I'm 50 rp short of the 1350 it's going to cost. I'm hopeful that it will be discounted on release but I'd like to know for a fact if that's the case.

Yes, usually on the first few days a 1350 skin will be discounted to 975 RP.

Yes, I believe that's how Riot is going to do the future 1350 RP skins that come out. Also, I believe it's more than just one day. I believe its sold for 975 RP anywhere from three days to a week after its release. Then it rises to its 1350 RP price. You should definitely hold off on the RP; there's going to be some great content released this next Patch.
