please riot, make it so shen can cancel his ult manually! You have to stand in teamfight for 3 sec like idiot if you want to shield someone. pls pls

Should make it if you cancel it the shield goes away automatically, otherwise you can just have a free 800 shield for like five seconds or however long Shen ults for.

In the context of teamfights, there are many more powerful shields than Shen's ult, even with this change. Help, Pix!, for instance, has a bit more than half the value, with 1/16th of the cooldown and a longer duration.

So, I wouldn't be too concerned, especially considering that Shen isn't exactly a powerhouse at the moment.

Well that's because most people with shields have AP to scale along with it. If Shen were to build AP, then his shield would become enourmous. 850 base with a 135% AP ratio = around a 1500 shield with just 500 AP.

Given that we're talking about an absurdly long cooldown ult on a low damage, supportive champion, I'm still not worried.

Also, I dunno. If someone's building deathcap on Shen of all champs, I think they kinda deserve a big shield.

Well that's what AP Shen is mostly known for. His gigantic shields and constant Q poke.

My only point was that Shen shouldn't just be able to just shield an ally from across the map and cancel it with no repercussions.
