Okay so this might seem a bit strange but it's really irritating me. Braum's title is "the Heart of the Freljord". The one thing I find odd is that it's "THE Freljord" instead of just "Freljord". Because I'm pretty sure that there shouldn't be that "the" there as Freljord is a name. You don't say "The Noxus" or "The Demacia" for example. And in general, there is no "the" in front of names.

So, could someone tell me if is this intended, and if yes, why? In other cases Freljord has always been mentioned without "the" in front of it.

Or if it's just an oversight/mistake, could you fix it?

I think it's because the Freljord is a geographic region first and a nation second. I imagine its used similarly, e.g. to "the great plains", "the Ruhr", or "the Outback".

"The Freljord" flows quite nicely actually and while I can see what your talking about in regards to Demacia and Noxus as it wouldn't flow right "The Freljord" rings quite well for the hero.

Maybe this will help. Noxus and Demacia are city-states, they are precise locations. However, the Freljord is not a city-state. It is a region, a large location that encompasses many precise locations.

For example: You can find the city of Lincoln, Nebraska within The Great Plains region of the United States.

I'm pretty sure the name is "The Freljord" since many champions say that in their quotes. Such as Ashe's quotes "For the Freljord" and "I will unite the Freljord"

His title should be rename to "The mustache of Freljord.

freljord is a geographical place. There are in fact many smaller factions that live in the freljord.

It is not necessary that there be a "the" in front of freljord but it is there to emphasize more than just the region. By using "the freljord" it takes his title a step further than just the geographical area to include that he is the heart of the people of freljord as well.
