You get to use different champions for free every week, but what if you've already unlocked one of those champions? I suggest when the same champion you already unlocked is available for others you can use one of that champion's unlockable skins for that week. [This is my first post]
The point of it isn´t to give you a free item, it´s to let you test out those champions to see how you like them.
you will eventually get all the champions, riot giving you free skins would make them run out of money.
Wait, guys: If you're one of those people that buys into the "you aren't a freeweek noob if you use a skin" logic, this actually makes some sense. For example, I'm a Zed main, and I don't own his skin because I think classic Zed is superior. However, I don't HATE Shockblade Zed, and would use the skin while he's on free week for the above reason (people going 'OMG GG freeweek noob' as soon as we get in game, etc.) So, this idea definitely needs some polish, but this guy is, in my opinion, on the right track here.
i had the exact same thought because i would buy a champ and then it would be free the next rotation and when i use that champ people think im using them because theyre free. but if riot did do this then they would lose money. i know theyre only free for a week but if its common that the champ is free then you'll most likely never buy a skin. its a great idea but riot would lose money from it.
