My dear Riot, is this Mecha Shyvana? The Ultimate skin in Mecha Aatrox' splash art?

As probably everyone knows or is aware of the updates in PBE, there was a tease or unknown character in one of the summoner icons.

If we can see very well, it is a Mecha skin that's not either, Mecha Kha'Zix, Mecha Malphite or Mecha Aatrox. The eye is different, the head design is different, and this one has scales. ...scales? As far as we know, there are only two champions that currently have scales. (Rammus excluded as his design is totally irrelevant to this) Shyvana and Renekton. The design of the head looks fierce, more of a reptile kind of subject than anything else. Both do possess scales, but Renekton's eyes are absolutely inaccurate to this Mecha summoner icon. Though, Shyvana has a dragon form, and so, the entire shape of the face in such an icon, does make sense for a dragon of sorts. The eye might be merely adopted from the human form of her's.

Now, enough of that summoner icon. Have you seen the Mecha Aatrox' splash art? Well, there's something strange. If you focus in the background in Mecha Malphite's, you can see Mecha Aatrox about to move. In Mecha Aatrox, you can see in the very dark background, that a figure of sorts is there. It's not a bridge. This one has particular lights or LEDs that actually got me wondering.

Its design, or such odd figure, has LEDs to give a special shape to something, which may look... like a jet, or a propulsor to make something fly, right? Well, if you focus even more, you can see that at the top, or above this strange jet of sorts, there's actually the shape of wings. It has a very typical wing shape, so, it's pretty obvious that it would look like wings instead of something else. Curvy shape, etc. As well, to add more, there's a large tail that comes from the bottom to the top. It has LEDs or something around this piece as well.

it's unlikely that icon is for the next ultimate skin because they put it in the shop on the PBE during the 4.12 patch cycle, so probably it's going to be released with the Mecha Ward and the other two skins. http://i.imgur.com/PuojUELl.jpg

Do you have to really buy these, or you actually just get unlimited RP? I'm asking due to not having any idea about PBE since I was never a member of it, but, I'm not really sure then why they'd add a picture of a, perhaps, Mecha Shyvana instead of Mecha Aatrox or Mecha Malphite... or hell, the Mecha Ward.

I really hope it isn't just a summoner icon... all this work for nothing. ;_;7

If u remember a couple of months ago their was a champion spot light for dragon like creature coming out in a couple of months that was suppose to change game play for ever. Knowing this do you think this could be a hint or clue, kinda like how the winter wonderland lulu skin hinted that braum was coming.

Actually I noticed something that supports your theory so much it kinda scares me.

If you look on the warehouse Mecha aatrox is coming out of in his splash art there is a** 5 **clearly printed there (right next to the tail thing or whatever): http://i.imgur.com/CWWqfHEl.png Along with Ironscale, Boneclaw, Darkflame, and Ice Drake, another shyvanna skin would be her 5th skin...

Half life 3 confirmed?

Yeppers, I see what you are seeing and I definitely makes sense that it is Shyvana and theat shee already has 4 skins with 2 being very good. Also, it may not come out for a while because Riot seems to create skins in a pattern by theme (like Battlecast, Mecha, Debonair, Officer, Full Metal, etc.). To everyone else wondering about this discovery, I propose a small question; will it really be an ultimate skin or, instead, a legendary or even a gold? I mean Mecha Shyvana would look cool but how could Riot implement nice looking particle effects using the hexagonal particle effects in used in latest Mecha skins or will Riot go back to the explosive particle effects used on Mecha Kha'Zix?

I agree, I think probably mecha shyvanna could be a thing in the future, but it might not be a legendary. That said, that PBE icon is kinda like the SGU and PFE logos that you got for buying them. And the transformer aspect would be cool

On another note, I noticed that Mecha Malphite COULD have been predicted (even though It's a bit of a stretch, and is only a theory)

If you look at the middle pod in the Mecha Kha'Zix Splash (~~Link below because I don't know how to put the photo, sorry~~), it seems to have a pile of rocks inside.

As for the other pods? I have no clue. the left one is very obscure. Almost looks like Twitch after his VU. Since this skin was release well before his VU, I think that's highly unlikely to be him.
The Pod on the right, I cannot make anything out on it.

These are speculations, and can be totally wrong. Plus the Kha Skin was made a long time ago, most likely before they even thought of giving these two the skins of the same theme.

Doubt it. Most likely just an icon being released with the mecha ward and skins. Like how pentakill icon released with the pentakill album or that doom ziggs icon that was released with doombots. I think its just to go with the theme like the other icons

ok i may just be going insane after reading all the posts (more then likely) but in the back of mecha mal skin that does not look like atrox to me it looks like galio im probably wrong but they look way to much like his wings to me and horns Edit this is also Galio 5th skin if you count his classic

if it is a mecha shyvana skin, which I would instantly buy no matter the price, I hope they dont give her high heels. Ice drake is my favorite current skin for her but the heels just dont make sense with her lore or personality.
