Jayce bug(s)? Or are his abilities supposed to work like this?
I haven't played Jayce in a while (mostly since his balancing some months ago) and decided to play a round with him today and while I was rusty, (missing them Q's) what stuck out and infuriated me to no end was that 2 of Jayce's abilities can be negated after they're already in motion. On multiple occasions, my Q and E in hammer form were both negated by various events.
In the event that my target moved out of the original range of my Q after Jayce has already started his dashing/jumping motion, Jayce lands and does nothing. Even in the event where I land right next to the original target , apparently it does no damage unless the hammer REALLY hits them. My qualm is that there are multiple abilities that adjust the attacker's trajectory to compensate for the target's movement even if they go out of the original range after being targeted and others will apply the damage even if the attacking motion is cancelled/interrupted. If it's supposed to work like this then his Q is kinda sort of unofficially a ground targeted skill which is kinda weird. Shouldn't it be just 1, not sort of both?
His E has a windup motion for the hammer hit, which is cool if you like to say swing bada bada before smacking someone in the face, but it's lame that sometimes the skill gets negated if jayce gets cc'd or the target moves out of range before or during the wind-up motion or in some cases even upon impact at the end of the wind-up motion. I understand the before and during to some degree, but I had multiple cases where xin zhao's 3rd hit on his Q negated my knockback even though we hit each other at the same time and one case where he hit me while in the motion of being knocked back (talk about double standards on cancelling).
I know there are probably other abilities which behave similarly, but I felt it was worth pointing out since Jayce has 2 of them. I can't even begin to explain how annoying it is to land next to someone with Q, see no damage, say fine it glitched, life goes on to then walk up to them and hit E only to see that get negated too, while people's damage and effects still come through my cc. Apologies if they're supposed to work like that and I'm just nitpicking, but I would like to think that 2 skills on the same champ that work like that has to be a mistake or something.
