Help me pick a champion (I know how i want to play)

Okay LoL, I need help branching out and picking a few other champions. I have played Nidalee (favorite), ash, ziggs, nassus the most (probably in that order).

What I am looking for is someone that can spam specials pretty easily (not mana intensive or mega cd's) and that is pretty mobile and fun to play. I dont mind difficulty of the character as that is fun to learn but simplicity doesnt bother me either. Maybe a cc thrown in there if this is too generic. I typically like ranged players (or at least gap closers if they are melee). I dont play much PVP so dont worry about counters or bans. I am just looking for fun.

If you need more input for me then let me know. I just dont know many champions yet and I am a very casual player. Thanks for your help/recommendations in advance.

@IPrice, thank you for your help. I have been reading up on akali and I think she might be the ticket for me. Worth spending the points at least.

You should learn Teemo. Wait wait wait wait wait, hear me out.

Teemo: high speed, and great harass, no serious mana problems, good cc.

Pros: Teemo They mad Hes fun.

Cons: Teemo They mad They coming for your blood.

I just recently picked up alkali and she seems like the champ you are describing once she hits six. I've had fun learning her. Maybe you should give her a try.

@Cameronsu I checked out alkali and she looks fun, has a slow aoe, a ranged poke, a gap closer. looks good! Is she mana intensive?

@Flame- is there anyway i can narrow it down for you? I dont like skill shot ult's much. I am not big on slow people, I would rather jump in and out of fights quickly than sit and beat on someone for ages. I also dont like super ranged without an escape method (read ashe in my experience anyway).

Edit - can someone help me with the picture flame posted? I am looking at black and white champions and I dont see champ that matches that pic perfectly lol ( I am so noob )

Akali is a energy based champion, this basically means that you'll never be forced go back because you're out of mana. You will only run out of energy(mana) during short periods of time. Also, if you stand in her AOE slow you will be invisible.

Ezreal is Ezreal. Ezreal has a playstyle similar to Ashe's, he sits in the back and does consistant damage. The notable differences between Ashe and Ezreal are: -Ashe doesn't have an escape, Ezreal has a flash on a 19-11 second CD -Ashe has tons of slows, Ezreal has none(Unless you build Iceborn Gauntlet) -Ashe's only real skill shot is her ult, every one of Ezreal's abilities is a skill shot
