Karthus Visual Update is killer!

I've long appreciated Karthus. Not just for the gameplay, but the lore, and the general feel for the champion. When the new VU came out, I just had to give him a try, and when the game was done I came straight here to voice my appreciation.

Granted, Karthus wasn't exactly stagnant or bad with his old visuals, but the new ones really take his gameplay feel to the next level.

The voice work is brilliant. He really sounds like a grim, peaceful, slightly melancholy psychopomp, which if he isn't already, is obviously something he aspires to. I even noticed a special trigger when I bought and squeed myself just a little.

For some reason his Q felt a bit more responsive, but I don't know if that was my imagination.

I do have one minor gripe though. His book is too small. :(. See, I picked up the Grim Reaper skin ages ago, and have used it pretty much exclusively since. Aside from a bada$$ scythe, it featured a Necronomicon with an unmistakeable similarity to the one in Army of Darkness. The splash art still shows it a bit, but the book that he carries around in the game is tiny, and you can only barely make out the cover. Nonetheless, I really like it overall, and look forward to Warwick's new look and play, as he's a champ I've quite enjoyed in the past as well.
