Supports in non-ranked play?

Are playing supports worth it in non-ranked play? I really want to buy Thresh but a lot of the ADCs in non-ranked gameplay are not very very skilled. So are supports worth it in non ranked?

your level 24 and you are talking about not skilled players.... shesh. I hope you do not think you are the next madlife.

Bot lane is one of the harder lanes to learn. You do not have to worry about just 2 opponents but also working with a team mate. Bot lane has some of the most dynamic lane trading. And you saying that ADC are not skilled. Duh, odds are you are playing with others not level 30.

Normals have MMR(match making rating) not just ranked. The system is putting you with people close to your skill level. In 90% of lvl 30 Rift games there is a support. In Draft normal i would put it closer to 95%.

That said, Thresh is a top tier support.

Oh believe me the search for a good pug adc does not stop at ranked.

Thresh is a solid support, if you like him, and don't really have a thing for any other supports, I'd pick him up.

Yes because you need to know how to play the champ and be comfortable with them when you are forced to support.

You will have a hard time finding a team w/o a adc and support duo botlane, in ranked or normals.

While finding a good adc in ye old yolo queue is hard, a good support can get the adc fed and that wins games.

A good support can make a mediocre adc seem great.

No. adc's are sometimes ungrateful and the support never gets any credit but usually gets blamed if something goes wrong. no adc has ever carried alone, bt not much acknowledgement for support.

also learn to support before playing ranked anyways lol thats always a good idea bt is only fun for some people, and i will never understand why
