Ascension Bug

So, i played Ascension for the first time with Lux. We did very well and once i got fed i started to go to the portals the enemy goes to teleport to. What I found out was weird. I would wait till' they tp'ed in and I used "Lucent Singularity" Lux's E ability. Then I would used "Light Binding" Lux's Q right on time and at the same time I used "Final Spark" her ultimate. Thinking I would one shot the champion which I tried on "Galio" "Caitlyn" and "Lucian". I dealt 0 damage to the champions. Although with "Illumination" Lux's Passive I dealt quite a bit of damage with my auto since the champions were still marked. This occurred of course about 1-2 seconds after the champions tp'ed in. I hope you figure out what is going on! I was not Ascended at the time it occurred either so I don't think it had to do with this. -xxxjoeeojxxx- Thank you.
