[GAMEPLAY] Tristana Rocket Jump and Yasuo Ult Interaction

I was recently in a game as Tristana. I was trying to escape from an enemy Yasuo and in order to put a little bit of distance between us i tried to Rocket Jump away. As I was mid air the enemy Yasuo ulted me, there was no tornado he projected as far as I am aware of. I know I am not invulnerable while im in the air but it seemed like to me that my own displacement effect PROCed Yasuo's ult condition.
