Login issue and In-game item selection [Client & Gameplay]

I am currently having problems with the login. I would attempt to login then an message would appear inevitably closing the program after selecting ok. After a second or third try it will often login successfully (look at "reporttoriot(2).png").

Unless it is a user problem another bug I encountered is the item I selected in-game would make that portion of the screen hard to see. Wish I could provide a better worded description, but its hard to explain so I'll let the image do the rest of the talking (look at "reporttoriot.png").
