Perma banned for third party program usage after just being banned for leaving games.

So I played a couple of games of League yesterday and in the evening I played in a game where everyone got around 2000 ping constantly. Several others left the game. I tried to restart my client, but it would not let me reconnect again. I tried a couple of times, but never could i join again. Hopeless I quit the client and started playing other games. Later on I got placed in a "low priority queue" for 5 games (20 minutes extra queue/game), meaning I would have to spend an extra 100 minutes in queue, this because I left the game. So I contacted Riot and created a ticket. I explained my problem and after discussing through 4 or 5 message (pretty long ones), where I said that I don't think it's fair that I get to spend 100 minutes in queue, while I had done nothing wrong. 20 minutes ago they finally answered that they would remove my suspension as they had found it wasn't my fault, the issue was caused by an ISP in my zone. So when they finally remove that I had already spent 60 minutes in queue.

Being happy that they had solved the problem, I kept on reading the message, when I found that I had been permanently banned. This time they accused me of using third party programs. I have not cheated on any game except The Sims and the only things I have downloaded during my 6 years of playing League, and that had anything to do with League is Overwolf and Raptr. So now I have contacted them again and my evening might be ruined... Hopefully they will be able to solve this but I hate that I have now been falsely accused of both leaving games and cheating... Have you guys had any problems like this, and if so: How did you solve them?

They ban for 3rd party programs in waves. You're not the only person who got banned this week for this.

  1. If you didn't do anything then it's possible that someone else with access to your account did. If you've ever gotten boosted or otherwise shared your account it's possible that the other person used 3rd party programs.

  2. If you feel that you were wrongly banned you can submit a support ticket to Riot Support, asking them to manually review your ban and make sure it wasn't a false flag from their system. Make sure not to ask them how or why you were caught though. Because a) they can't tell you because it's policy not to disclose how it works, and b) if you ask them how you were caught then they will just close the ticket because they will assume you are one of the hackers trying to get them to reveal how the system works so you could work around it.
