Client Freezing in Champion Select

During champion select, my client has frozen a lot during the banning phase. This really bothers me because it's ranked, and I'm not purposely dodging. I'll see the first couple champions that get banned, then I don't receive the messages from anyone or see the bans or champions picked until it says that everyone has left the chat room, and my screen will stay on the part where the third or fourth banned champion. It's just really frustrating because it only happens sometimes and it's been happening for about a week. I can still get into games sometimes, but I'm not sure if it's worth risking getting banned anymore.
