So, yeah, I just got DJ Sona, and when I brought her to the Rift, none of her music was playing for me and another I was in the skype call. The effect sounds, such as abilities, changing form, basic attacks, etc. worked, except the passive music. I checked all the sound settings on my client and the settings in game, but alas, nothing. So I was wondering if it was just a patch issue or...what?

have you gone to options to see what your music is set to, i turn it off so i didnt hear it at first either
I have he same issue! everything else is just fine, i can hear all other sound effects of this skin but no music at all. whats the point of being a DJ??? please fix!!
Same issue here. All SFX are working, but the music is a no go. My client hasn't crashed though... If a solution or fix is found please tell. (UPDATE) a restart fixed my issue... Music is ready to go now.
I haven't bought DJ sona yet, a friend is planning to buy it for me and him in about a week. Earlier today one of my friends who owns dj sona played as sona with the skin on, I go into game i press tab and click the button but no music. I've also had the 99% problem, though i've always thought there's no need to fix it since i can just exit the patcher, rerun it, and it patches like normal. I think this is probably a rare occurance since there's only like 3 people on this forum that state they have the problem but i think it would be very worth looking into, considering you're getting 25 dollars for each person you help XP
When I tab, there is no music box or icon beside sona to hit so I can tune in. :( It's the main reason I bought her....
Tis making me very sad. But bugs happen, just want it fixed asap. Might try and fixing my client instead of reinstalling all together. Will update later.

Same issue here, although i didn't reinstall the game yet. The skill sfxs are working, but no background music and my teammates don't even have the music button next to my icon. Btw i'm using the mac client, idk if it has something to do with it.
EDIT: Reinstalled, bug still persists.
I have the same problem. The music doesn't work for either me with the skin or someone on my team having the skin. I tried messing with the in game music but nothing worked. when i was in game with the skin on my team, i tried toggling the music and it would switch between the regular in game music and silence. Also a mac user if that is important.
I have the same issue. Tab music doesn't work. Nor do i hear the music playing as DJ Sona. Mac user as well. Hmm.. I don't know if i had any issues downloading the patch. I left and came back and it was already done with the download "i suppose".
it's most likely a mac issue. my girlfriend's also using a mac client and is unable to hear the music playing when she's on sona or even when she's on another champion trying to listen on dj sona.
