Brand Ult immune to Yasuo Wind Wall?!

Played a ARAM today 11/21/2014 as Yasuo. Brand on the enemy team ults. I throw up wind wall and Brand ult hits the wind wall but continues to target i think in invisible form and then you see bounces of it and damage being taken. I hope this isnt supposed to be a form of physics where wind enhances fire..
