[CLIENT] is acting weird

has anyone run into an issue where you have to click multiple times before the client registers the action? and if I alt+tab out and return to it, the hud (sometimes items, sometimes spell, sometimes stats, sometimes a mix of the previous) disappears until I move my mouse over it.

the first doesn't happen all the time, but there doesn't seem to be any connection to the ping and that issue. the second is consistent and is reproduced on my system by just tabbing out and tabbing back in.

I'm using Windows 10 with AMD drivers for 7770HD.
