kalista's passive + relic bug

Hello has anyone noticed that kalista's passive is interfering with the relic shield ablity? I noticed this when my adc attacked a minion and then I went to kill it with an auto. The kalista passive proc'd but the relic did not so I did not receive any gold nor did I use one of my stacks from relic but my adc received the gold normally as if he last hit it. Please not this does not effect the relic if you use an ability to last hit the minion this only applies when autoing.
