Huge FPS issues after 5.15

Ever since the new patch my FPS had tanked, from a steady 50-60fps, down to 7fps maximum. I have tried to repair the client to no avail, and have set all the in game graphic settings to very low. Also tried changing the computer settings to gaming mode once again to no avail. A complete re-install also did nothing. Noticed that the client seemed to be using all the CPU. Wondering if the two are related. As you can see in the screenshot the fps is down to 7. Thanks.

same problem here it's unplayable. i haven't find a solution yet but i noticed the same about the cpu and client so they're probably related. i'm thinking of an fps boost not sure if it'll work though. hope for a solution soon :(

SAME HERE omg I have tried every single thing in the book and it just lags and lags nonstop. It's totally ruining the game for me. I notice the client itself is really laggy outside of games too. Riot pls fix I can't do this anymore...

Same here, it seems not everyone is affected but so many are. This update seems to be simply bugged. Some problems with blurred item screens too. This patch just slows my computer right down... I have 8GB RAM and i7 processor so it shouldnt jerk around my computer as much as it is. Perhaps my gfx card isnt the best but for LoL ? Really...

Alright guys so if anyone is watching I did seem to fix this....I did a total system restore to factory conditions on my PC. That seems to have solved the riddle. IDK WHY but it works.

If you have an NVIDIA Graphic Card, the problem could be the latest driver update. Just install one version earlier.
