[GAMEPLAY] Down servers caused a ranked loss.

League of Legends Match History

My duo partner and I were in a ranked game when the servers went down for maintenance. On the website it said,

"On 8/5/15, starting at 1:30 PDT, ranked queues will be disabled in preparation for patch 5.15. At 3:00 PDT, the servers will be shut down and all games currently in progress will end in a draw and stats will not be recorded. We estimate the battlegrounds will be unavailable for 6 hours."

However, when you view the match history.* It was recorded as a loss. My partner lost his series because of this loss and i lost LP as well...

Frustrating? Yes but not day ruining. If there is any chance we can get LP back and he can be put back in series that would be wonderful!

EDIT:

I realize now that the maintenance wouldn't have affected us yet, however, the game crashed after no team surrendered and we were still counted as a loss.

Same thing happened to me, lost LP when the game was 3v5

It's affecting all battlegrounds also. I got DC'd from Aram along with one other. it's odd that it seems to only be affecting one team at a time though. I haven't seen any posts where people on both sides got dc'd.

@ravinamu134 our whole team did get disconnected and even in the after game chat no one had any idea what had happened.. very weird for sure..

Same thing happened to me and my duo partner. Around 1:40 in game we got disconnected at the same time in separate internet connections. In-game we just got the "attempting to reconnect" visual and couldn't move. It didn't look like it was going anywhere so I left the game and tried to reconnect again from the client but that also didn't work. After repeated attempts we got to the loading screen 9 minutes into the game. When it finished loading the enemy team was at our Nexus and the game ended at 9:45. In the end we lost lp and both teams reported us for leaving/afk. Thought for sure it was going to be a loss forgiven. Anyone else got a problem similar to this?
