Notification for lp decay not showing

So over the last week or so i have been playing every so often, or at least logging on, and last thursday i got the notification that i had decay'd down from diamond to platinum. I was at 17 lp, and ended at 75 lp plat over 1 day without receiving any notification when i log in saying that i would decay in X amount of days the previous week.
