PVP.net Patcher Kernel has stopped working message

Sometime between Saturday and Monday my league client has stopped working. I just get the message that it has stopped working. I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled and continue to get this message. Anyone else?

If you're on Windows, try opening it as an admin.

I got the same thing, don't why it won't start.

have the same issue, launching lol.launcher.admin.exe helps, but lol.launcher.exe crashes
