I log in stuck in spectator mode

I can not chose to play , store or anything outside of overview - nexus - patch notes. I have restored the client and this is still an issue anyone know what to do?

Agreed, this works. Essentially gets rid of your "saved" client settings in regards to saved username. Pretty much resets it so that when you restart your client, you have to retype your username and password instead of having a saved username.

not sure if this goes against TOS or something but you can keep client settings like saved username by opening LeagueClientSettings.yaml in a text editor and delete anything past time stamp all the way till before the globals: section. I did this in an effort to preserve my client settings as i have a different resolution set and i wasn't sure if it would preserve it and it worked out well for me (wouldn't advise doing so if against TOS and also not sure if this could cause any other issues though)

Confirmed, this worked. Had to reaccept TOS and type in user name, but did fix problem. Encountered this a few days ago.

Spectated a game, left while in spectator mode, came back (long after game was done), stuck with "Sorry, you were removed from the party." Then no play button or way to exit this mode at client.

I reported it twice and no word or difference from support.

Never had this happen before, glad I can play again.

Easy fix, just delete that file.

yes, same. I do not know about you guys but here is how it happened: I clicked in to spectate a friend's game, everything seemed fine. I decided I wanted to play my own and quit out of it. However, when it quit out it said I was still spectating. I tried closing all running applications and relogging in, but I am still in spectating mode, even long after the game I was watching ended. Every time I log in it gives me a notification "Sorry, you were removed from the party" even though I was not in a party. Still in spectating mode. May try uninstalling and reinstalling the client if doesn't fix soon...

I found fix when you few time try to log in there will be popup to quit or reconnect, just spam as fast as you can with left mouse click on quit and you will no longer be in spectating mode.

Same for me im stuck in spectate mode on every single account even on accounts on different region, nice one riot even their support page doesnt work for me i cant log in there to sumbit a ticket...

mine is now fixed after restarting computer, uninstalling client and all affiliated things, and reinstalling. hope this helps
