Just watched Yi escape a killing tower shot by skilling

I just watched Yi negate a tower shot that would have killed him (already fired) by skilling. It still followed and hit him, he was at less than one bar and survived. Wore nothing that accounted for it, so that's got to be a bug. Otherwise it's the cheapest trash I've come across in this game.

so you are saying yi didnt die to turret cuz he leveled up and gained hp ?

I'm guessing you mean he used Alpha Strike on a creep after the tower fired a shot at him? In that case it's intended, Yi is untargetable for the duration of Alpha and towers never hit untargetable units.
