Level 6 Mastery tokens

I won a game today and I got my 2nd mastery token on Kindred as i counted from the notifications it sends when you get the token. I check to see my shards and etc. and its states that I have only one shard even yet I have gotten 2 S- and Above grades. Can someone explain to me why I do not have 2 mastery tokens even yet I performed well. Can I get an explanation?

What game mode are you playing? Mastery tokens can only be earned when playing normal or ranked Summoner's Rift. You will not be able to earn them when playing ARAM, Twisted Treeline, or any of the rotating game modes.
