When playing as Shadowfire Kindred on summoners rift (a co-op vs AI - Beginner), I wanted to test if my ultimate, Lambs Respite, would work if you went into their well, or where they spawn. However this did not work , and I am not sure if I just failed massively or there really is a bug, but to recreate it you should get the same result by,

1 - Cast 'Lambs Respite' right outside their spawn area, and make sure part of it is in the range of the turret.

2 - Use 'Dance of Arrows' to jump into the well so you are targeted by the turret but still in the are of 'Lambs Respite'.

Not a bug. There is nothing that can stop the fountain laser from killing you. It goes through death preventing abilities like Kindred and Tryndamere ultimates and it will not trigger revive abilities like Zilean ultimate, Anivia passive, or even Guardian Angel.

Death preventing abilities do not block fountain lasers.
