[GAMEPLAY] Zyra Plant AI intermittently not attacking targets (patch 8.16)

Been noticing this bug crop up myself, and it's been a topic of discussion on www.reddit.com/r/zyramains. Above, please find a link to a twitch clip where the bug is shown.

There doesn't seem to be a specific thing to trigger it in gameplay, but occasionally, when plants are active, they will ignore all nearby targets (champions or minions) and do nothing. Don't know what steps to use to reproduce it. This has only been happening since 8.16 went live, and I've still been able to win games as Zyra, so the champ isn't unplayable, and it's clearly not every time that plants are activated, but it is noticeable enough to make you [sg-ahri-1]

I noticed it in my ARAM game. They would lock on to poros as nearest enemy and not attack.

I uploaded a compilation of in-game (not spectating) footage where you can clearly see the plants targeting poros and the orianna's ball. Also in the first clip (the one under turret) you see the plant targeting the poro while orianna is right next to it.

Had it 2 or 3 times now that a plant did imho not attack anything even it should because vs and minions were around them. Very sporadic and not in an special situation, just on lane as usual while poking/fighting.

Seems to me theyre just targetting things they cant attack (inanimate objects like xayah feathers, dead enemy corpses, poros, jungle plants etc.) and either doing attack animation with nothing happening... or alternatively just sitting there 100% useless. I am guessing there has been some subtle coding change that is making it happen.

I've noticed this quite a few times since I started playing Zyra again, and it drives me nuts sometimes! I've had so many missed kills because of this bug. :(

Hello Riot? This shit's still going on. Plants frequently just sit there doing nothing with multiple minions and champions standing right next to them.

I've also been getting this bug for a little bit. I think the plants lock on to the champion but for some reason don't attack. In my video you can see them not doing anything until malz flashes away, then they attack the minions.

Hopefully bumping again. I want to report that it's still happening consistently in my games. Not just once or twice either. I played a 25 minute aram game where at least 2 dozen times I would spawn plants and they wouldn't attack or would only attack after a 2 second delay.

I noticed this still occurring in patch 8.20, so I don't think it has been fixed yet... As a Zyra main, this really hurts...
