Lux ult still hits when target dashes behind her

This happened to me in a game when I was LeBlanc and I dashed behind Lux before her ult animation finished and was hit anyway. Could be a lag delay? Either way, if you could test it, that would be fantastic. My ping is fairly low in games <50, so perhaps it could be a bug.
