I hate this game
i was choosing my champion when i was first pick in ranked, i banne d vi and her portrait and abilities wouldnt go away and i couldnt exit out of my mastery page and i got deserter and lost LP

If you go to the top and type in the search a champ name and click on another It should make the one go away.
That's an issue I've asked to have addressed long ago.
People who have been playing for a long time, especially those playing in ranked, don't need those popups. They are completely unnecessary and cause lag most of the time, as well as the bug you described.
It is because you had typed Vi or V in the champ select search bar. You need to erase what's in there otherwise that is all you will see.
