My friend can't gift me RP or champions

My friend AlmostJapan is buying RP for me because I have not set up my bank details yet. He tried to gift me £5 worth of RP but said that something kept stopping him from doing so. Please fix this. I have not received any gifts prior to this and he has not sent any.

If I remember correctly, one has to be on your friendlist for at least 24 hours first.
