Being a giddy little bronzie scrub, I opened league on my macbook pro. Things started getting awry when during champ select, before I could select any champion, the client said I dodge the champ pick (its ranked btw :( ). After waiting 5 minutes, I finally got into a game, but then the game was messed up. I could only see a corner of the game and the game became difficult to access and exit out. This is 7.9 btw anybody with the same issue?

THERE IS A FIX FOR THIS
It is not perfect and requires you to do it every game but it DOES fix the problem for a game.
When you get into the game, hit escape to open up the menu. You won't be able to see anything but you can click and drag it around so that you can. Go to the "video" tab and change from "fullscreen" to "windowed." Accept it. THEN CHANGE IT BACK. I'm on a MacBook pro and have been having the same problems, and this will fix it for the game and allow you to play in fullscreen mode. It's annoying, it's tedious, but it works.
Also I love all these Mac haters. They're probably writing from their phones because their laptop bluescreened.
EDIT: Alt+Enter will also accomplish the same thing without having to open up the menu.

Yes, I have the same problem too! I tried to switch the client, but the problem seems to be just the game itself. The game starts and only the lower left quarter of the screen was visible. I made two screenshots.
However, I noticed that only the resolution 1440x900 is bugged. (at least for my macbook pro 13") Every other resolution I tried was working. (Thanks for being able to drag the settings window by clicking anywhere on the window... saved my day)

This bug renders the game almost completely unplayable. Why hasn't Riot commented on this? This is the highest ranked thread in the Report a Bug section. How embarrassing that they don't even seem to care.
I am playing on macbook pro also. i am able to pick champ but loading window after champ select is far right top corner of my screen. then game begins and i can only see far left bottom corner of game window. it is stuck out of position.
Is Riot even trying to fix this? It has been a day, still same issue!!!!!!!!!!

For me i was playing ranked and was able to load the champ select screen but once the game was about to start the game kept crashing , wouldnt evem let me get to the load screen :/ Lp= lost

YEs i have the same thing, i cant even play now because i only see 1/4 of my league screen is annoying af. im in promo and lost one game because of the screen
Same here. My left corner of the game was in the right corner and the rest of the screen was black. Another -18 lp
Happened to me too, but thankfully I was only loading into a custom. So I guess every game mode is messed up then? ;(
I sort of fixed it by changing it to windowed mode
Does anyone know if Riot is aware of this issue? On the status page it does not mention anything about this, only about a bug causing crash.
Doesn't Riot run the patch before release it? Even the solution they give is only going yo make you suffer from playing. And, it has been two days......... PLEASE RUN THE PATCH BEFORE RELEASE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having the same issue as everyone else. Last night I also had an issue where after a few games that weren't glitched, the client would reopen, but the window would be cut off at the bottom of the screen and locked from being dragged up beyond a certain point. When that happened, I had to force quit after every game because I couldnt click the 'do you really want to exit league' button.

I have the exact same problem. I am only able to see the top right corner of the screen. The whole 3/4 of the screen is just black and my mouse activity is also limited only within that 1/4 of the screen I am able to view.

This shit is still happening, it says they fixed the bug on service status and even had a little update but the problems persist
Yeah im having the same problem. every match is like this. i even deleted and redownloaded the client and nothing changed. Im also on a mac, and i have lots of friends who had the same problem who also have macs. all game modes and all champs are the same it all looks like this
I had the exact same issue, on a ranked with my MacBook pro. I lowered the resolution and it got fixed, however it looks weird like if everything was smaller. Please fix this thing RIOT also since I got the new client it glitches overtime I'm in champ select.
