Turret Bug! [Gameplay]

Alright you guys I'll just say what the bug is, and if it's happened to you bump this up. I was attacking mid tower and about 5% hp left on the turret. It killed my last minion targeted me and fired a shot, however I destroyed the turret before the missile hit me. And when it hit me it dealt no damage. Now I was playing adc and was full hp and fed so it didn't really affect the game. But if I was one shot and it didnt kill me, a bunch of people would have been pissed.
