Orianna ultimate ability not casting at ball location.

I've been playing Orianna recently, and in just three games I've had two occurences where, when my ball is connected to an ally player via Command: Protect (E), I will cast Command: Shockwave (R), and the ultimate will pop not on the ally that is shielded, but where the ball was when the ultimate was cast. This is making it incredibly difficult to combo my ultimate ability in any way with initiation champions like Malphite or Camille.

The bug is easily recreated with just about any form of movement, such as Malphite ultimate, Rek'Sai tunnel. Anything. 100%.
