[Bug] Shen's W

It seems that Shen's W doesnt block all basic attacks, or at least the enhancement end on it. I was in a ranked game with my friend (who was playing shen) and he laned against a teemo, who was able to hit the poison effect while inside the w. Just something to look into, might have just been a player-side error.
