No longer able to use UP ARROW to retype PREVIOUS MESSAGE

I like to time flashes, ignites, teleports, etc.

Usually I type in chat

Mid f 14:35 (meaning the midlaners flash will be up at 14:35)

I usually am able to hit the UP ARROW on my KEYBOARD to RETYPE the message for me, this is not the case and is no longer working. Super useful for ranked games, even at my low elo :) . Someone else reported it here.

Started happening after patch 9.8 for CERTAIN.

Appreciate any insight.

Had no idea this was a thing, hope it's restored because it's very useful. Was it only for things typed? Would it for pings like when an enemy uses a summ spell?
