Sivirs E (Spell Shield) not working properly. [GAMEPLAY]

So, I've played Sivir for some time now, and few times this happened: I was playing,everything's fine until I got into fight with Yasuo.. He got his third stack on Q, and used his tornado on me. I used my E (Spell Shield). It triggered the shield, gave me mana, blocked the damage but the tornado still knocked me up and Yasuo ulted me = lost a fight. I tried it after and it doesnt happen every time but it happens once in a while. Unfortunatly I do not have screenshot or video. Hope I helped. Looking forward to seeing You fix it :P . Cheers . I've been seeing similar problems with nocturne's spell shield; makes both of them not worthwhile when their abilities don't work. Disappointing these inconsistencies are ignored.

Maybe not ignored, just that Riot doesn't know about them. But who knows :D

Did he have red buff?

Kinda wondering if it zeroed out the slow on red buff then allowed the knock up to hit.

He didn't have red buff and the Spell Shield doesn't "zero-out" buffs. It's "spell" shield after all :P .

He did not. He was really far from his E range :).

Does Spell Shield block Statikk Shiv? Maybe it chained to you and broke it. I'm just throwing out ideas here, I really don't know.

I don't really remember if he had Statikk Shiv but I took no damage from his Q. Just pure knock-up

From what I've seen in my 33 games with her in ranked and quite a few in normals, I haven't blocked Static Shiv's discharge. Unless I'm doing it wrong?

You're not doing it wrong, it does not block statikk shiv
