When playing league a little while ago I ran into a interesting bug and so did my friend. After getting through the lobby phase my game would then launch but proceed to crash and bring me to the oh so familiar reconnect screen. I thought this was fine until I realized that the reconnect button wasn't working ,clicking it did nothing. simple enough, restart, after restarting it would have one of two outcomes it would just not even try to reconnect me to the server and just take me back to the reconnect screen. Or it would bring a window up that said I didn't have direct x 11. taking 10 second to check revealed that I did have direct x 11 and it was up to date. So what could be the problem?

After reinstalling the game it worked, but my friend didn't need to reinstall but only have dodging one game previous, he has only been playing for 2-3 weeks, got put into low prio queue.

This bug only happen to me and my friend once, and might be a computer problem but my direct x was up to date. and caused my friend who was just starting to play with a 5 minute queue timer.

You DO realise that League of Legends is a doesn't use DirectX 11, right?

The in-game engine uses D3D9 on Windows. (DX9Ex featurelevel, IIRC.) If anything, the new Client Interface actually uses much MUCH newer tech and APIs. (CEF uses DX11 or OGL backends)

You're looking at a local software configuration issue outside of the League of Legends scope, likely from either third-party software or an OS configuration issue.

At any rate, upload your crash logs, let riot staffers have a look anyway.
